"My Life, it's been up and it's been sideways. It's been ridiculous and joyous. I will never say it's been down. One thing for sure that it has always been is now. And, I've had to learn to be here with it.

I'm an Ohio native with roots in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Yes, that means I'm filled to the brim with Midwest kindness and Southern hospitality. Raised in the small suburb of Harrison Township, just north of Dayton, I am the daughter of educators - I call them the Saint and the Scientist - who were both dedicated to the concept that knowledge is power. In fact, my father was my high school principal and it was my mother's love and command of language that opened me to the beauty of words.
I received my B.A. in Radio/Television Communications from thee (yes, that's emphasized) Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and following graduation moved to New York City to pound the proverbial pavement, be a modern-day flower child and work in theatre. After much trial and error, an abundance of tears, frustration and a whole host of experiences to be shared later (;) I was fortunate to connect with amazing people and was welcomed into Eva Minemar's Angry Jellow Bubbles sketch group and show, which was co-produced by Tony Lepore. The show toured internationally and played several stages nationally, including a run at the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles. It was there that I brought to life the lovable "Namaste B$%^#S" Yogo teacher, written by fellow bubble Delores Diaz!
Life moved me to Los Angeles, where I've worked both as an artist and an educator. Some of my most fulfilling jobs outside of acting included the honor of directing arts education and youth mentoring programs in Ohio, New Jersey, New York City and Los Angeles. In addition to designing arts curricula, I've mentored middle and high school students for over 15 years, teaching Dance, Drama, Media Production & Poetry while producing and directing yearly performances. When my last project in that sphere came to an end, I moved into my next chapter and began crafting a new life experience.

"I've been cast as Glinda the Good Witch three times. If only my wand was really magic. Maybe it is - and that's the mystery of my own life story. Everyone watching knows this except me! Ha - what a twist!"

Focus. Re-focus. Keep Going.

Deciding to adopt a single focus and return to my roots as an artist brings me to where I am today. Creatively, I am finding my bliss in generating new writings, fresh pieces of artwork, original music, auditioning and working in film, television, theatre & new media. I am dedicated to being fully present in the moment. Because I love an intellectual challenge, I completed my Executive MBA degree at Howard University in Spring 2018, culminating the program with honors and in Fall 2018, I entered Mount Saint Mary's University's to work towards receiving my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Film and Television, with a concentration in Directing & Cinematography

I'm on a mission to create uplifting, inspiring, family-friendly media that everyone can enjoy. Inspirational stories and media with a message are what hooked me as a child and I want those stories to continue to be told. As an actress, an artist, a woman and a woman of color, it's of paramount importance that I be part of stories that explore my full humanity, the fullness of my femininity, my love and my full compassion for us all.
